Government failed the people. They had no plan already set up for the hard hit regions, in case some of these hard heads don't listen to the governor and leave the city on time. Give me a break! Some are saying no one thought it will be like this!! No sh*t. Air drop the food, water, and help all these people on top of the roofs. The dead must be moved, before diseases become common. Sad to see, the poorest states hit like this. The military should have been called weeks ago to stop the looting, and help the evacuation. Now they are calling for the military, but this will take almost another week or so before they will be able to start working in 100%. Media not doing good, mentioning that these areas are the poorest of the poor, and rest of the nation are watching like a movie, not doing enough. U see many blacks on these tv shots, and it's beyond me how strong these people are. Stay straped people, your our finest blacks. Please help as much as U can they need us now. God help their souls.

I have my nephew who wanted to leave the city a day before, but some how didn't and we don't know if he made it out or not. Pray for him and the rest.
