July first is very important day for me, i'ts the day when Somalia ended the colonial rule of the British and the Italians. For those of you who don't know me, and visit my blog, I was born in Somalia, and I left as a little kid in 1990. All you Malis add your comments and what you think it means to you, especially you diasporas.

May be I will repeat this, and say this is for diasporan Malis, who should share with me, what it means to be Mali in July 1st. Others shuuuuuuuuuuut.

For me, I will wait after the conflict ends, and move to my newly built home in the beaches of Bosaso. White sand, clean beach, and large house, with peace in the nation, I can't wait!

It means a lot to me, even thought I left when I was very little. Living in Sweden haven't changed my intention for sometime to go back and live my motherland, I have more love for Somalia then ever before. Bless the SYL.
